Jennifer Garner’s daughter Violet Affleck recalls fight between the two

Violet Affleck, who is the daughter of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, got candid about a disagreement she had with the Family Switch actress regarding the 2025 Los Angeles Wildfires.

The 19-year-old detailed in an academic research paper for the Global Health Review at Yale University, that she had more awareness about the crisis than her mother, or even her younger brother.

The Los Angeles native wrote about the incident which heavily impacted the Pacific Palisades months ago, “I spent the January fires in Los Angeles arguing with my mother in a hotel room.”

Violet noted that Jennifer was “shell-shocked, astonished at the scale of destruction,” which was confusing for her.

“As a lifelong Angelena and climate-literate member of generation Z, my question had not been whether the Palisades would burn but when,” she continued explaining.

Violet also took a slight jab at her 13-year-old brother, Samuel, who had asked her if global warming was related to the pace of the wind.

“Hopefully, most of us understand the climate crisis better than my little brother,” the teenager wrote.

Notably, the freshman has also appeared at a Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors meeting in 2024 to discuss COVID-19 precautionary measures, marking her active involvement in environmental discussions.
