Cassie recounts violent encounter with Diddy before OVO Fest, revealing new details in high-profile trial
The harrowing testimony of the former partner of Sean “Diddy” Combs continued on day three of the high-profile trial.
Casandra Ventura, better known as Cassie, took the stand once again to chronicle the alleged abuse she has suffered at the hands of Diddy.
The 38-year-old revealed that she was assaulted by the music mogul prior to attending Drake’s OVO Fest in Toronto.
In her testimony, Cassie recalled staying at her home with some friends when Diddy visited them and violently attacked her.
“Sean came to my home & tried to attack me. I was thrown into the bed frame," the plaintiff claimed.
The prosecutors also showed a picture of Cassie with French Montana at the festival in which she had covered the facial injuries with her hair.
It is worth noting that it was Cassie who filed a sexual abuse and domestic violence lawsuit in November 2023, which opened a barrage of allegations against Diddy by multiple women.
On Tuesday, the singer disclosed that Diddy did not like her appearance as she looked “too Mexican” to him.

OVO Fest is an annual music festival held in Toronto, Canada, organised by Drake. The rapper owns the OVO brand which also includes a record label and a fashion catalogue.
