The Killers of the Flower Moon and Fear the Walking Dead actor Samuel French breathed his last breath at the age of 45.
Paul Sinacore, the director of Samuel’s last film, Towpath, first shared the news of his death with fans.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the actor passed away on Friday, May 9, at a hospital in Waco, Texas.
Based on THR reports, the Blood Dried Hands star had been suffering from a prolonged battle with cancer that had spread through his body.
According to a statement by Paul, "Samuel was a dear friend and an incredible actor."
The Unsolved Mysteries director went on to say, "Samuel carried a fire for acting that burned in every frame — unfiltered, fearless, and alive. He gave himself completely to the work, and it showed."
"I am deeply saddened by his loss and only wish he could have seen the final cut. He was one of a kind, and he will remain in our hearts forever," he continued.
On April 23, Samuel uploaded his last photo, which showed him appearing weak and mentioning getting medical treatment, and displayed a glimpse of his struggles during his illness.
