'Stranger Things' star Cara Buono reveals her relationship with young cast

Cara Buono, who is known for playing Karen Wheeler in Stranger Things, got candid about the bond she developed while working with the young cast of the hit show.

The reel-life mother of Mike Wheeler could not help but form a special relationship with the children after sharing screen with them.

According to Us Weekly, the 54-year-old actress thinks of herself as the “defacto mom,” while taking care of the young stars and watch “them grow up” and prosper in their lives.

The Gladiator actress admitted that the lead ensemble behaved typically as they wouldn’t “listen to their moms,” giving her an opportunity to intervene.

In 2016, the Netflix original introduced a new fictional world, the upside down. It featured Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, and Sadie Sink, who started as a group of curious children.

Although the horror sci-fi primarily followed the adventures of the adolescents, the Karen’s character became significant in the third season of the series.

When is Stranger Things Season 5 coming out?

The fourth season of Stranger Things premiered in 2022, building great anticipation around the finale season, which is expected to release in 2025.

Previously the Duffer brothers, masterminds behind the web series, revealed that the instalment will connect with the previous ones which will make it the “biggest and most ambitious season yet.”
