Kanye West made headlines following the Met Gala 2025-not for attending the event but for serving his ex-wife Kim Kardashian a cease and desist letter for mistreating daughter North at fashion’s biggest night.
The duo seems to be embroiled in a messy custody over their children (North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5) since the Heartless rapper has appeared in numerous live streams claiming that he is not allowed to see his children.
However, things seemed to escalate after reports surfaced of him sending a demand letter to Skims founder accusing her for leaving their eldest daughter in the car while she marked her entrance at the prestigious event made rounds.
The letter, released by TMZ had allegedly that Kim was to “cease and desist from actions that violate” Kanye’s “parental rights, exploit his children and breach the joint custody agreement established.”
Not too long after the initial report, a rep for the 24-time Grammy winner informed Page Six, “The letter is quite obviously fraudulent. TMZ didn’t ask for comment before running the story, and this morning, they finally emailed us with second thoughts, asking if it had been a ‘publicity stunt.’ No. You fell for a hoax.”
Notably, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum has denied ever restricting access to Kanye, 47, from spending time with their children.
No, Kim and North did not attend the Met Gala together, although the 11-year-old did pose for pictures with her mother before the glamorous event.
