Alden Richards shakes hands with Tom Cruise at Seoul red carpet

The iconic Tom Cruise, along with the cast of the upcoming Mission: Impossible sequel, Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning, arrived in South Korea for the movie premiere.

At the red carpet, on Thursday, 8th May, Philippine actor Alden Richards was invited as one of the VIP guests.

Richards, who is praised for playing Ethan in Hello, Love, Goodbye and Hello, Love, Again, the box office hit movies, ran into the Mission: Impossible franchise face, Ethan, played by Tom Cruise.

In the Instagram post, Richards shared a short video of shaking hands with the action star Cruise, followed by a little conversation. The two actors were seen cheerfully talking to each other, glad to meet, and enthusiastic.

After a brief conversation, the two Ethans shared a quick hug before posing together on the red carpet, enthusiastically pointing at each other.

Richards captioned the post, “Ethan meets Ethan… I have no words.”

The worldwide spy thriller sensation, Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning, will hit Philippine cinemas on Saturday, May 17.

The second part of The Dead Reckoning appeared to be the closure of the Mission: Impossible franchise.

The closure is further confirmed when Tom Cruise at the Tokyo premiere this Monday said: “This film is a culmination of the last 30 years of making this franchise.”
