Kim Kardashian names music icons who inspired her MET Gala look

Kim Kardashian in known for making headlines with her fashion statements and MET Gala is all about that.

The TV star arrived at the event fashionably late on Monday, dressed according to the theme.

The theme of the 2025 MET was “Superfine Tailoring and Black Style” and the billionaire made sure she followed it in a way she would make headlines, as she did.

Kim chose to walk the red carpet in a custom Chrome Hearts outfit with a chunky necklace, pearl chains on her waist and an eye-grabbing hat.

Later, the SKIMS founder revealed that the inspiration behind her look was legendary musicians.

In a post shared on Instagram, Kim revealed her inspirations to be Lenny Kravitz, Jimi Hendrix and Miles Davis.

“Inspired by Lenny Kravitz, a modern dandy whose fluid, bold aesthetic, alongside icons like Jimi Hendrix and Miles Davis, pioneered distinct and culturally significant aesthetics – shaping the way men dress for generations to come.”, the TV star wrote.
