Jennifer Garner was delighted to announce a new project as she will be returning to an old classic of hers while she is reportedly struggling in her personal life.
The actress is known for her girl-next-door characters and dream girl charm which she depicted in the classic rom-com 13 Going on 30.
Jennifer announced that she will be returning to the beloved role of Jenna Rink in the musical adaptation of the 2004 classic 13 Going on 30 – The Musical.
The 53-year-old will work on the upcoming project as an executive producer after more than 20 years since the original came out.
“After more than 20 years – I still get to talk about Jenna Rink and 13 Going on 30 more days than not – who knew our quirky little movie would have such staying power?” she said on joining the team.
The star shared her excitement to bring back the iconic characters from the original saying “I'm thrilled to see Jenna, Matty, and Lucy live on in their very own musical”.
13 Going on 30 follows the story of 13-year-old Jenna Rink who makes a wish to skip school the next day and wakes up as a 30-year-old woman.
Jennifer will take on this new project as there have been rumours of her former husband Ben Affleck disrupting her relationship with partner John Miller.
