Colin Jost and Pete Davidson had impulsively purchased a Staten Island Ferry in 2022 and the Weekend Update co-host is desperate to get rid of it on Saturday Night Live.
The 42-year-old played himself in the sketch on May 3, which was humorously titled “Ferry Altercation” alongside other actors such as Quinta Brunson, Mikey Day and Chloe Fineman.
Quinta, 35, argued with Mikey, 45, as the two portrayed two angry drivers fighting over parking on a Ferry. The argument was mainly carried out through exaggerated hand gestures from the passengers who had their car windows up.
Mikey's car also had Chloe, 36, as his daughter in the passenger seat, which is the window Colin decided to address the passengers from.
The comedian showed up after almost three minutes into the sketch, immediately after Miley discloses that he typically "loves the ferry."
Colin creepily placed both his hands on the window and stated, "Hey! You said you love ferries? If you love ferries, would you like to buy one?"
A startled Chloe looked at him before asking her father, “Oh my God, is that Colin Jost?”
"Yes, that’s Colin Jost. Don’t make eye contact," Mikey answered before telling Colin they weren’t interested.
Colin begged them to make the purchase before switching strategies and noting, "Hey! Hi! I’m Pete Davidson, hi," in an attempt to sway their minds.
Yes, the ferry was previously mentioned by Colin’s wife, Scarlett Johansson on January 22, where the Black Widow actress quipped, “if anybody out there would like to start a GoFundMe for the Staten Island Ferry, please be my guest."
