Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has just sent his loyal fans into a frenzy to cap off an epic April.

The Yeezy founder released his latest album, Donda 2, on Tuesday evening on various streaming platforms.

The album is the sequel to 2021’s Donda and was first teased by the artist back in 2022, when he also shared that the project would be produced by Future.

Donda 2 was initially released shortly after that tease and its latest iteration contains many of the original tracks with different titles.

On Wednesday, however, Ye raised alarms after revealing that some of the producers of Donda 2 are “going to take down” the album.

The singer posted a screenshot of a text in which his collaborators alleged that Ye did not pay them for their work. “The lawyers are getting this taken down within the hour,” the text said.

Ye did not share further details about the dispute and it is unclear whether the album will actually be taken down, as it is still available on Spotify at the time of writing.

As mentioned earlier, Ye had quite an eventful April even by his standards.

The rapper went on to DJ Akademiks and Digital Nas’ live streams where he played some sick beats, wore offensive garbs and made startling revelations.

Towards the end of the month, the Flashing Lights singer also revealed the official track listing of his next album CUCK, which contains some offensive titles.

Has Future made any cameos in Kanye West’s ‘Donda 2’?

Rapper Future makes several cameos in multiple tracks of Ye’s latest album. The 41-year-old artist appears in songs like Happy, 5:30 and Mr. Miagi.
