Lucy Hale bravely discussed her struggles and her insecurity about her skin.

Hale, when starring in Pretty Little Liars, she got acne, and she thinks it's something people should talk about more because it's "not talked about enough."

Hale, 35, opened up to People, "When I was younger, if my skin was breaking out, or if there was anything going on, it derailed my day. I look back at my 20s and there was a lot of shame attached to my skin ... these days, I'm a lot more kind to myself."

The American actress' skin concerns shifted in her 30s to dark spots from breakouts, while regretting that "not wearing sunscreen in my 20s" was the biggest mistake.

As per the Gracie Award winner, "I was kind of careless about [SPF] or didn't think about it, and because [hyperpigmentation] didn't show up then I was like, I'm fine, then of course, I hit 35, and all the sun spots are coming to the surface."

The Fantasy Island star collaborated with Eucerin on a skincare collection that makes skin look brighter and more even-toned.

The Dude star also decided to remove tattoos, sharing, "I'm super impulsive. I got a lot of tattoos in my 20s, and I'm getting a lot of tattoos removed in my 30s.”

Following that, Lucy Hale decided to keep "I love you" tattoo, which is in her grandmother's handwriting but will remove other ones.
