Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, opened up about an experience he had as a child with one of his relatives in a new track called Cousins.
"This song is called COUSINS," wrote the rapper, "about my cousin that’s locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn't 'look at dirty magazines together' anymore."
He admitted that he felt he was possibly responsible for the act taking place, "Perhaps in my self centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw."
Explaining where he came across the magazines, Ye added, "My dad had playboy magazines but the magazines I found in the top of my moms closet were different."
The rapper went on to give inappropriate details about the relationship, which apparently continued until he was 14 years old.
Previously this month, he gave an apology to Jay-Z after questioning the mental capacity of his and Beyonce’s children, Rumi Carter and Sir Carter.
“I’m sorry Jay Z,” Ye began on X, “I be feeling bad about my tweet but I still feel I gave my life to this industry and thought so many people were my family but when I needed family on some real s*** none of these rap n****** had my back.”
