Kylie Jenner, who is dating Timothee Chalamet, is reportedly facing immense pressure from her mother Kris Jenner as engagement rumours loom.

The nuptials of The Kardashians star and A Complete Unknown actor are reportedly being directed by the momager as she is trying to keep an upper hand.

According to Life&Style, the 69-year-old is “determined to have her way” in Kylie’s big day. Her mother is looking forward to her daughter’s marriage ceremony as a business opportunity and a source of ratings for their reality TV show.

The mother-of-six is “seeing a huge opportunity for a televised event, photos and video of the proposal, sponsors for the wedding and reception,” as dished by the outlet.

The Dune lead is allegedly looking for the perfect ring with a price tag of around $300,000. This came after the couple went out to look for luxurious properties in Europe, signalling something big is around the corner.

With the indications of wedding plans, the source concluded that the sweet hearts “will have to play by [Kris’] rules. It’s a benefit to them as well as her.”

The Jenner Communications owner believes that she will “reach her earning goals” by the end of this year.

The source explained Kris’ nature of monetizing “everything” by watching a “number like a hawk and if anything isn’t up to her expectations, she jumps in and changes things to improve so it’s all very fluid.”

Timothee will have to follow the book as “it’s always been that way and even Kanye [West] towed the line. When one of them gets married, Kris always has a say in how they’ll handle the publicity.”

However, the 27-year-old fashion mogul has “kept her family at a distance and that’s part of the reason why Kylie thinks their relationship is working so well.”
