Dua Lipa, who acted alongside Henry Cavill in the 2024 spy thriller Argylle, is reportedly interested in broadening her acting resume.

The 29-year-old also made a brief cameo in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, and now wants to advance in the acting field.

A source spilled to Life & Style magazine, “Dua’s done some acting and wants to do more so Reba is also throwing around the idea of having her come on as a guest star on the next season of her sitcom.”

The insider was referring to Reba McEntire’s sitcom, Happy’s Place, which began airing in 2024.

Meanwhile another source had informed The Sun that Dua has “recieved a tonne of scripts” before shockingly detailing more of her plans.

They went on to claim that the New Rules songstress was also interested in setting up her own production company which allows the Albanian songwriter to take up projects she believes in.

However, the three-time Grammy winner has not confirmed any new acting gigs and seems to be laser-focused on her ongoing tour.

The 16-BRIT Award winner is currently on the Radical Optimism Tour which is based on her third studio album with the same name.

In an exciting crossover, the Don’t Start Now singer surprised her audience by bringing the Crowded House frontman, Neil Finn, to the stage in Auckland to cover the band’s 1986 hit Don’t Dream It’s Over.

What is the meaning of Dua Lipa’s Radical Optimism?

Dua Lipa described her latest album Radical Optimism as a record which “taps into the pure joy and happiness of having clarity in situations that once seemed impossible to face.”
