Lana Del Rey is pushing boundaries with her latest song, following the release of Henry, Come On last week.
Lana, 39, latest single, Bluebird, debuted on April 18. It is a reflection on toxic relationships and the journey to freedom.
"Your crash landing's over, but the evening is hummin'," she sings. "Don't make me say it again."
Bluebird showcases Del Rey's dreamy vocals as she sings, "Find a way to fly/Find a way to fly," adding her signature style. "Just shoot for the sun 'til I can finally run/Find a way to fly."
The singer collaborated with Luke Laird on Bluebird, which was co-produced with Drew Erickson. The song is part of her upcoming, untitled album.
On April 11, the West Coast singer shared an update about her album in a removed Instagram reel, "I'm really happy for this album to be moving along. I do have a lot more to say [about] that ... I mean, you do know it's not going to come on time right? Like... should I even tell you that the name changed again?"
"Should I tell you that now, while you're so happy you even have a song? Yeah... maybe I'll wait," she continued.
Lana Del Rey hasn't confirmed a new release date for her album, previously set for May 21. The title has been changed multiple times, following the previous titles Lasso and The Right Person Will Stay.
