Emily Cooper is all set to return to our Netflix screens as Emily in Paris season 5 officially goes on floors this May, and we can’t wait to see what our favourite influencer gets up to, this time in Italy.

To celebrate this exciting moment as the show starts filming, here’s a look back at some of the best Emily in Paris episodes from the last four seasons of the hit Netflix series.

Cancel Couture (Season 1, Episode 10)

When Emily in Paris started off, it took a while for it to strike the right chord with viewers beyond virality, but the season finale made sure that fans would tune in for the next season and how.

The final episode of the first season, titled Cancel Couture, brought to a head personal and professional milestones for Emily, setting the perfect stage for season 2.

Not only did we see Emily pull off Pierre Cadault’s pop-up launch, but she also moved in with her series bestie Mindy Chen. And the best of all; Emily finally give into her slow-burn romance with Chef Gabriel, when they hooked up thinking Gabriel would move to Normandy, which of course he didn’t, instead deciding to stay back in Paris for season 2.

The Cook, the Thief, Her Ghost and His Lover (Season 2, Episode 7)

Season 2 saw the introduction of Alfie, a new and strong(er) contender for Emily’s affections, and what a breath of fresh air that was.

The second season seemed to hit the mark with viewers more than the first one, probably thanks to the great push and pull and chemistry between not only Emily and Gabriel but also Emily and Alfie, and episode 7 was a true heartwarmer for fans of the latter.

Focusing on the growing connection between Emily and Alfie, and Gabriel’s burning jealousy, the episode was the perfect mix of tension and drama, and needless to say, we couldn’t get enough of Alfie on our screens.

French Revolution (Season 2, Episode 10)

If there’s one thing Emily in Paris can pull off, it’s a banger season finale, and much like the first season, the second one also ended on a dramatic note sure to pull in viewers for a third round.

The ultra-dramatic season finale brought Emily to personal and professional crossroads, with the arrival of her American boss Madeline in Paris causing a major upheaval, with everyone quitting Savoir save for Madeline and Emily, leaving Emily to make some tough choices.

That’s not all though, Emily is also faced with tough decisions in her personal life, as she considers a long-distance relationship with Alfie, who is to return to the UK, and also tries to work out her feelings for Gabriel.

Charade (Season 3, Episode 10)

Once again, Emily in Paris hit the nail on its head with its season finale for the third season, easily delivering one of the most drama-filled and entertaining episodes of the whole show.

The finale tied together three seasons worth of loose ends in a truly dramatic fashion, with the highlight being Gabriel and Camille’s engagement party… which not only turns into an impromptu wedding, but also gives way to major drama when Camille and Emily’s pact is exposed, Gabriel and Emily’s love is laid bare, Alfie dumps Emily, and the revelation that Camille is pregnant.

Whew, talk about a fiery curtain close.

Masquerade (Season 4, Episode 3)

While Masquerade may not have all the theatrics of the previously listed episodes, this episode was important for so many reasons.

When Camilla finally went out of the picture, fans thought Emily and Gabriel would finally be free to explore their relationship in the open for the first time, but that didn’t happen until this episode when Emily finally chose Gabriel over Alfie at the masquerade ball.

This marked the culmination of almost four whole seasons of Gabriel and Emily pining for each other and never fully exploring their love affair, and a very much welcome ending to the Alfie and Emily saga.

That’s not all though. The episode also saw Sylvie finally gathering courage to expose Louis de Leon, and going on record to reveal how he sexually harassed his female employees.

A truly satisfying episode.
