Fans react as Mick Jagger gets engaged to woman half his age

Rolling Stone’s lead singer Mick Jagger was one of the most famous faces among women as the rock band was on its peak. The musician was involved in numerous high-profile relationships, resulting in eight children with five different women.

79-year-old Jagger has been romantically involved with 36-year-old Melanie Hamrick since 2014, with whom he shares a son with.

Friends close to the couple claim that the two have already been engaged, reports Mirror.

Fans have reacted to the couple’s news by making comments on the drastic age gap between the rockstar and his fiancé.

“She was only a year old when the man was 45 years”, commented a fan on X in response to the news.

Some fans made speculations about the intentions of the former ballerina while some defended them.

“Who cares? If she wants it and he wants it then let them be!” wrote a comment in the couple’s defence.

His first marriage was to Bianca Macias that lasted from 1971 to 1978 while his second marriage was to model Jerry Hall, which however was an unofficial marriage until they separated in 1999.
