Jordan Peele’s new flick ‘Him’ gets first poster

Jordan Peele’s new film with Monkey Paw Productions titled Him has just received its first ever poster, and it is intriguing to say the least.

It’s a sports centered horror film that stars Marlon Wayans, an iconic football quarterback who is growing old as he takes a new player under his wing.

The poster features a football in a glass case with blood dripping off of it, which seems to be key to the plot, that follows “a promising young football player (Tyriq Withers), invited to train at the isolated compound of a dynasty team's aging QB1. The legendary quarterback (Marlon Wayans) takes his protégé on a blood-chilling journey into the inner sanctum of fame, power and pursuit of excellence at any cost.”

The film was originally titled GOAT and is directed by Justin Tipping, being written by Zack Ayers and Skip Bronkie.

The cast also includes Julia Fox, Tim Heidecker, Jim Jeffries, and Indira G. Wilson as well as Guapdad 4000 and Tierra Whack.

Peele is producing the film alongside Ian Cooper, Win Rosenfeld, and Jamal M. Watson.

Him was originally set to be released last Christmas but couldn’t due to the SAG and WGA strikes.
