Netflix’s new show Adolescence is breaking records with its gripping story shot in a unique way. The show in its debut week has made several records with the actors getting praised for their roles.
Stephen Graham, who plays the role of Jamie Miller in the show, shared an emotional interaction with the rock-star Bruce Springsteen that left him in tears.
Graham is playing the role of the legendary singer’s father, Douglas ‘Dutch’ Springsteen, in the upcoming biopic on the star’s life, Deliver me from Nowhere.
The actor shared on Edith Bowman's Soundtracking podcast that he received “the most gorgeous text” he has ever had in his life.
The legendary singer said “Thank you so much, my father passed away a while ago and I felt like I saw him today and thank you for giving me that memory.”
The emotional text moved him to tears and he admitted that this is “better than any award that I could receive in my life.”
The biopic is expected to hit cinemas later this year with Jeremy Allen White starring as the music icon Bruce Springsteen.
