Young M.A breaks silence amid ex’s allegations
The rapper responds after her former girlfriend made ‘foul’ claims about their relationship
Rapper Young M.A is setting the record straight.
The 32-year-old broke silence after her ex-girlfriend recently made a series of claims against her.
The former girlfriend, who goes by the Instagram username “itsmselfmade,” posted a video from 2023 on the platform.
The footage showed Young M.A in frail health with IVs attached to her hands. Along with the video, the former girlfriend also wrote a long caption detailing her account.
The woman alleged that she looked after Young M.A when the rapper was struggling with her health.
She claimed that Young M.A fell into sickness just weeks after meeting her and that the rapper did not disclose her condition.
The ex-girlfriend also told her followers that she would reveal more details about her side of the story in the near future.
It is unclear what prompted the former girlfriend's outburst but she also claimed to have left the rapper because she was holding her partner back in life. The woman further implied that Young M.A was jealous of her success.
In response, Young M.A took to her Instagram to address the claims, labelling them “foul” and hinting that she could also defame her ex but she is not about that and has resolved to “let God handle it.”
Young M.A also expressed surprise at her former girlfriend’s behaviour and clarified that the hospital situation was an “unfortunate moment” that happened two years ago.
Young M.A finished by owning up to her past and reassuring her fans that she is in good health, ready to make more music.
