Diddy’s attempt to exclude evidence from trial: “It’s fake”
Sean “Diddy” Combs has accused media outlet of tampering with evidence
Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing several charges of abuse and one of his victims is his former partner Cassie Ventura.
In a 2016 surveillance video, the rapper can be seen beating his partner and dragging her across the hotel lobby in the InterContinental Hotel, California.
Diddy’s legal team has stated that “they destroyed the original video file they received from their source.” They claim that CNN uploaded the video on a software, altered the footage and then destroyed the original.
In response, the media house has denied the claims of tampering with the evidence saying they aired the story about the video several months before Combs was arrested.
The video aired in May 2024 and Combs was arrested by the feds in September 2024.
The plaintiff’s attorney have came out and said “I am confident that the video fairly and accurately represents what happened, will be admitted into evidence.”
Comb’s team is submitting documents to court in order to exclude the video from the upcoming trial.
