Disney’s upcoming Snow White has been embroiled in controversies ever since its announcement in 2016.

The studio recently announced that it is cancelling the red-carpet appearance of Snow White's cast and crew members at its Hollywood premiere on March 15.

Disney usually invites media outlets to interview cast and crew members at the premiere of its major films as part of promotional efforts.

However, the studio revealed that it is scaling back the premiere of its remake of the 1937 classic with only the photographers being allowed at the scene.

Disney did not provide the reason behind the announcement but it is speculated that this could be due to the controversies surrounding the remake and the political views of its stars, Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot.

Actor Martin Klebba, who voiced one of the seven dwarfs in Snow White, shared with TMZ that he is upset at Disney’s decision to scale back the premiere.

Klebba said that while Zegler and Gadot are entitled to their personal opinions, it should not have overshadowed the hard work put in by other cast and crew members.

The veteran actor has been a part of major Disney blockbusters, including the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

Klebba also believes that big projects like Snow White deserve a full-scale premiere. The movie is set to hit North American theatres on March 21.
