Rapper Shawn Carter, famously known as Jay-Z, was accused of assaulting an Alabama woman in 2000. The identity of the accuser was later revealed as Jane Doe.
Doe claimed that the rapper assaulted her when she was invited to the MTV Music Awards 2000. At the time the plaintiff was 13 years old.
In the recent video made public by ABC News, Doe can be heard talking to two private investigators hired by Jay-Z.
“But Jay-Z was, you’re saying he was definitely there? But he had no part in it? The investigator can be heard asking the woman who responds with “Yeah.”
The female investigator further asks “(Jay-Z) didn’t have anything to do with any sexual acts towards you?” Doe confesses, “Yeah”.
Doe further revealed that her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, pushed her to file the case against the rapper.
Buzbee has since denied the allegations saying “that is a blatant lie.”
