Kate Middleton and Princess Anne’s heartwarming exchange at the Commonwealth Day Service has captured the hearts of Royal fans.

The sweet exchange stood out as the Royal Family gathered for the annual event. The Princess of Wales, dressed in a striking red Catherine Walker coat, later curtsied to King Charles and shared a warm kiss on the cheek with Queen Camilla.

This marks Kate’s first appearance at the Commonwealth Day service in two years, as she was forced to miss the 2024 event during her cancer battle.

Despite their high-ranking roles, Kate, 43, and Princess Anne are rarely photographed together outside major royal events like Christmas at Sandringham and Trooping the Colour.

Princess Anne has previously spoken about the pressures younger royals face, acknowledging the challenges Kate and others now navigate.

In her 2020 documentary Anne: The Princess Royal at 70, she reflected on how the monarchy has changed, especially with the rise of social media.

“The pressure that is applied to the younger members of the family, it's always worse,” Anne said, adding, “That’s what the media is interested in. That’s hard sometimes to deal with. But there was no social media in my day, and it’s probably made it more difficult.”
