Rapper Boosie Badazz’s concert in Ohio turned into a crime scene after a shooting broke out at the venue.
The shooting occurred when the 42-year-old was performing at Field House Lounge in Akron, Ohio on March 10.
According to Cleveland 19, a fight broke out at the lounge around 2 a.m. and the unknown gunman started shooting. The off-duty security officers heard the gunshots and called for backup.
The gunfire injured three people, all of whom were male aged 18, 25, and 36. The officers found two victims in critical condition who were taken to a local hospital.
The third victim, a 25-year-old, was treated for a graze gunshot injury at an emergency room. None of the victims’ names have been released.
A video recorded by one of the concert attendees shows the moment the gunfire began while Boosie was performing on stage. The gunshots caused chaos at the premises with the rapper quickly ducking for cover.
This marks yet another violent incident involving Boosie as two people died at his outdoor concert following a shooting last August.
In May 2021, a gunman fired four shots during the filming of Boosie’s music video in Huntsville, Alabama.
