Blake Lively has made her a rare public appearance since filing a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, amid their escalating legal battle.
The Gossip Girl star attended the SNL50: The Anniversary Special live taping in New York City on Sunday, marking her return to the public eye.
Lively arrived at the event alongside her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and a source told People magazine that while she was initially nervous about attending, the couple ended up having a great time.
"They had a great time. It was nice getting out of the house and being around friends and familiar faces," the insider shared.
The couple reportedly mingled backstage after the live show wrapped, chatting with Ben Stiller, Paul McCartney, Tom Hanks, and Rita Wilson. Lively was also seen catching up with Dakota Johnson.
What is Blake Lively suing Justin Baldoni over?
Despite the relaxed atmosphere at the event, Lively remains locked in a tense legal battle with Justin Baldoni, whom she filed a lawsuit against, accusing him of sexual harassment, retaliation, emotional distress, and negligence. The allegations stem from their time working together on It Ends With Us, where Lively claims she experienced ongoing mistreatment on set.
