Millie Bobby Brown is getting candid about her decision to marry Jake Bongiovi at a young age, revealing that their relationship was built on deep conversations and shared goals from the very start.
In a new cover interview with Vanity Fair, the Stranger Things star, 20, addressed her early marriage, saying it was a thoughtful and well-planned decision rather than a rushed one.
"We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want," she shared.
"It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him."
She also opened up about the difference between loving someone and being in love, explaining:
"I think I loved a lot of people I was with, like I loved my friends. But he is the first man I’ve ever loved and been in love with. If we’re not fully invested, then what’s the point? We have to be, and we always have been."
Brown and Bongiovi first sparked romance rumors in June 2021 and later made their red carpet debut at the 2022 BAFTA Film Awards. The couple tied the knot in May 2024 and now live together on a farm in Georgia.
