Kate Middleton has faced immense challenges recently, from her cancer recovery to resuming her royal duties, but through it all, she has found comfort and strength in her mother, Carole Middleton.
Carole, who just celebrated her 70th birthday, has been a pillar of support for her daughter during this difficult time.
Speaking to Hello! Magazine, royal expert and author Ingrid Seward described Carole Middleton as a steadfast force in Kate’s life, particularly over the past year.
"Carole has always been a rock for Kate, especially this past year – she's been amazing. I have met her a couple of times, and the word that keeps coming back to me is 'strength.'"
Seward went on to compare Carole to a pioneer woman, symbolizing her resilience: "I imagine her as a sort of pioneer woman driving a wagon with a rifle at her feet, and three children in the back, fighting off any enemy. Basically, that's what she's been doing all her life, isn't it?"
In March 2023, Carole was seen driving Kate on the Windsor estate, offering her support during her health struggles and transition back into royal life.
