Prince Harry is preparing for a star-studded guest list as the Invictus Games draw closer. The event, which honors ill and injured service personnel, is set to take place in Vancouver and will feature some high-profile attendees. According to reports, Meghan Markle may join Harry at the games this year, adding a royal touch to the event.

In addition to the Sussexes, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark are also scheduled to attend. The Danish royal couple is set to travel to Canada to participate in the prestigious event, which will be held on February 14-15 at the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025.

Both royal couples have had strained relationships with their respective families, making their participation in the games all the more significant. The Sussexes' turbulent relationship with the British royal family is well-known, while the Danish royals have faced their own family drama.

In 2022, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie relocated to the United States after Queen Margrethe of Denmark stripped their children of their royal titles. The decision was a painful one, with the couple expressing their disappointment publicly.

In an interview with the Washington Post last year, Prince Joachim shared, "We weren’t happy about the way it happened. But it’s a family thing. It’s complicated. It’s also their name. It’s their identity since they were born. So it’s more than just what people see as a title. We’ve moved on."

Despite the challenges, both royal couples appear to be putting family drama aside to support the Invictus Games and the athletes who have overcome their own struggles.
