Heidi Klum opens up about her ideal Halloween costume

Heidi Klum has been working on her perfect Halloween costume for months! 

Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at the America's Got Talent season 19 Finale 1, the supermodel said, “Because molds need to be made. Prosthetics need to be made, fittings have to be had.”

She added, " So yeah, there goes a lot into it because I wanted to be so spectacular that this is not something I can just throw together overnight." 

 "It takes a long time. It takes a lot of planning. And also then when I do the reveal, I want to have a special reveal because I know I have so many fans and those particular Halloween fans are people who love also dressing up and coming up with amazing things," the star added. 

Further adding, "So I feel like they're really looking at what I'm doing and I don't want to let anyone down, so I'm always giving everything." 

Since the early 2000's the acclaimed model has been known for wearing pretty expensive Halloween costumes to her iconic N.Y.C Halloween party. 

Last year, she dressed as a Peacock for a bash at the  Marquee Nightclub in N.Y.C.. Backup artists also followed her as part of the costume and helped form part of the Peacock's wings. 

Heidi Klum's other costumes have included a zombie mom, , a werewolf, an alien zombie, Jessica Rabbit, Princess Fiona from Shrek and even clones of herself.
