'Deadpool and Wolverine': Jennifer Garner delivers playful joke about ex-husband Ben Affleck

Jennifer Garner had ex-husband Ben Affleck on her mind in Deadpool and Wolverine!

Garner, who reprised her role as Elektra in the new sequel starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman made a stinging joke about him. 

In one scene Reynolds Deadpool expressed condolences to the former Marvel movie actors who had not survived the wasteland world. 

Upon mentioning Daredevil, a character Affleck previously played, Garner's Elektra said, " Oh, it's fine," ;pointing out at him being gone. 

Apart from this, last summer it was reported that the mother of three would reprise a role almost 20 years later. 

To note, the exes have been pretty cordial co-stars as both essayed respective roles in 2003's Daredevil after which she became famous and bagged her own standalone Elekra movie in 2005. 

Ben Affleck, whose marriage hangs by a thread with new wife Jennifer Lopez, was married to Jennifer Garner in 2009 but called it quits. 

For the unversed as Ben Affleck continues to deal with marital woes his ex-wife has reportedly proved to be a great help for him. 

The star is currently living separately from Jennifer Lopez.
