The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, stepped out to grab lunch with friends in Beverly Hills.

While her in-laws battle with a major health crisis back in the UK, Markle continues to enjoy life.

The mom of two is back from her three-day long trip to Vancouver, Canada and just days after plans a day out.

Markle looked effortlessly chic in a black turtleneck paired with billowing black pants and covered it with a luxe brown coat and a brown suede cesta clutch for the outing.

She topped off the look with aviator sunglasses and beamed with happiness.

Royal experts have dubbed the Sussex’s as selfish and inconsiderate of the royal family’s feelings.

Meghan Markle took to the skies along with her husband Harry to attend events tied with next year’s Invictus Games.

In an interview with PEOPLE, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex weighed in on their gala time in Canada, “We loved being back in Canada, a place so meaningful to both of us. It was an honor to be welcomed by the Four Host First Nations, as we marked One Year To Go, together with Invictus coaches, competitors and families.”

“It filled our hearts to once again be surrounded by Canadian people, food and culture. We felt the Invictus spirit and excitement throughout Whistler and Vancouver, and are so grateful to all our hosts for organizing such a memorable visit. We’re counting down the days until we return!”
