Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordon have seemingly called it quits following swirling breakup rumours.
Spilling the beans about the relationship status of the Real Housewives of Miami star with Jordan, 33, Page Six cited a source, revealing, "They’re not together."
The insider went on to shed light on the reason for their split, saying that the two "are taking space from each other" due to some friction, allegedly "incited" by basketball player’s father, Michael Jordan, after “publicly denounced it [his son’s relationship with Pippen]."
However, the source further explained, "Marcus said Michael was joking when he said he didn’t approve, but it really mortified Larsa."
Moreover, it was reported that Michael’s feud with Larsa’s former husband, Scottie Pippen, also added fuel to the fire, surging a rough patch for the couple.
"The history between Michael and Scottie made things complicated, even if Larsa and Marcus did their best to make it a non issue," the insider added, "family comes before anything."
"At the end of the day, Michael is Marcus’s dad, and Scottie is the father of Larsa’s children," they said, referring to Larsa’s four children that she shares with Scottie named Scottie Jr., 23, Preston, 22, Justin, 19, and Sophia, 16.
On the other hand, additional reports by several sources suggested otherwise. A source close to the estranged couple said, "[the breakup] has nothing to do with any family input, but solely for their personal growth."
"They have decided to take some time apart to reevaluate their relationship," the tipster insisted.
Meanwhile, an insider from the RHOM production said that her cast members are "surprised" by her breakup, "No one saw this coming."
"It really seems like a sudden decision. There was no hint that there was trouble in paradise," the third source added in dismay.
