Kate Middleton has been discharged from the London Clinic and is recovering well following her major abdominal surgery.
On January 17, Kensington Palace confirmed in a statement that the Princess of Wales underwent a "planned abdominal surgery" at the London medical facility.
Moreover, the palace revealed that she would not appear in any public engagements for at least three months.

December 25, 2023:
Middleton, 42, was seen for the last time on Christmas day ahead of her major surgery.
She was accompanied by her husband, Prince William, and children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, on the annual family walk to church in Sandringham.
January 9, 2024:
The mother-of-three tuned into her 42nd birthday with a plethora of warm wishes from the royal fans and fellows alike.

January 17, 2024:
Kensington Palace posted a statement on the royal's official Instagram page, announcing that Middleton underwent a successful "planned abdominal surgery" the previous day.
"The surgery was successful, and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for 10 to 14 days, before returning home to continue her recovery," the statement read.
January 18, 2024:
PEOPLE confirmed that sources from the palace updated on Middleton’s health saying, "[she is] doing well" after major surgery.
The same day, the Prince of Wales visited his wife at the hospital.
January 29, 2024:
13 days after the surgery, Princess Kate was discharged from the hospital and was to continue recovering at her Windsor home. The statement also expressed gratitude for the medical staff’s dedication and well wishes from the loved ones.
