Kanye West has been urged to issue a ‘public apology’ after his heated encounter with a reporter over Bianca Censori.
The controversial rapper, 46, attended the Hollywood Walk of Fame event on Monday, January 29, 2024, in Los Angeles.
As he arrived at the event, he was inquired about the rules he set for his wife, Bianca Censori.
The reporter asked the Gold Digger hitmaker, “Hey Kanye, how you doing? It's good to see you. People want to know if Bianca has her free will. Some people are saying you are controlling her.”
In response, Kanye said, “Don't come asking me that dumb question. I'm a person, bro.”
Following the headline-making incident, celebrity PR expert Mayah Riaz told The Mirror, “If I was handling his PR, my priority would be for damage control.”
She further stated, “Not only is snatching a phone from a reporter and publicly patronizing her inappropriate behavior, but it also reflects poorly on Kanye's personal brand and public image.”
Mayah continued that Kanye is “already known for his controversial and unpredictable actions, but this incident may further reinforce negative perceptions of him.”
The PR expert added that this incident portrays Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband as “volatile, impulsive, and difficult to work with.”
“This would be in the form of issuing a public statement to express regret and Kanye apologizing for his behavior,” Mayah told publication.
