Kieran Culkin and Emma Stone seemingly cherished an amazing professional relationship despite parting ways as lovers.
The Succession alum and the Poor Things star, who were romantically involved from 2010 to 2011, recently got back together to collaborate on the upcoming film A Real Pain.
In an interview with E! News the Home Alone actor on Tuesday shared his working experience with his ex on the set of the new movie.
"She’s great," he shared on January, 20, at the premiere of the film, "she’s a really wonderful person."
Moreover, he stated the perks of working with someone whom you know beforehand saying, "It’s nice because you go into the job and most of the time you don’t really know anybody."
"But in this case, going in, I’m like, 'Oh, OK, well at least that part’s taken care of,'" he added.
Concluding his overall experience with the cast of the forthcoming movie though he wasn’t familiar with the costars and director Jesse Eisenberg, he said, "I’m going into a situation where the producers are going to be great and where the filmmaker will be nice, too, it was good."
In the film, which was produced by the Cruella actress, McCauley Culkin’s younger brother played the role of a man traveling to Poland after his grandmother’s demise.
Kieran, 41, and Emma, 35, first crossed paths on the set of Paper Man in 2009 since then they hit it off and started dating until their breakup in 2011.
Furthermore, they managed to maintain their post-breakup relationship as friendly, even starred together in the 2013 comedy thriller Movie 43.
Being in the same industry, the two also encountered each other a few times at various Hollywood events including their most recent reunion at the Critics Choice Awards on January 14.
