King Charles is recovering well after his correction procedure as updated by Queen Camilla.

According to ITV's Chris Ship, the 76-year-old queen gave a brief update to the concerned royal fans waiting outside the hospital.

"He’s fine, thank you," she said as she left the hospital on Friday evening, heading to her car.

The health update came after several outlets confirmed that His Majesty had undergone a procedure for an enlarged prostate earlier that day.

Moreover, on Friday, Jan. 26, Buckingham Palace updated his arrival at the hospital, the same as where Kate Middleton is staying to recover ahead of her major abdominal surgery.

"The King was this morning admitted to a London hospital for scheduled treatment," the statement began.

Expressing gratitude for the well-wishers on behalf of the King of the United Kingdom, the statement added, "His Majesty would like to thank all those who have sent their good wishes over the past week."

"[He] is delighted to learn that his diagnosis is having a positive impact on public health awareness," they concluded.

It was reported that the monarch also paid a visit to his daughter-in-law Princess Kate before going under the knife for his own procedure.

Unlike the Princess of Wales's shocking hospitalization, King Charles's correction procedure was planned as the palace already made an announcement on January 17.

"In common with thousands of men each year, The King has sought treatment for an enlarged prostate. His Majesty's condition is benign and he will attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure," the palace statement said.

"The King’s public engagements will be postponed for a short period of recuperation," they informed.
