Justin Timberlake seemingly forgot to mention that he will be going on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The former NSYNC heartthrob made the big reveal in a rather nonchalant manner as he graced the guest couch on Wednesday night.
The touring news came after Fallon asked the Cry Me a River hitmaker, "Are you gonna perform more?" during their usual talk show banter.
The crowd erupted into applause, prompting him to coyly reply, "Maybe."
The host continued to nudge the Prince of Pop, asking if there was any announcement to be made.
Timberlake, 42, clearly not taking hints, responded, "We are announcing it," while holding up a placard of his latest album, Selfish.
Amid all the confusing atmosphere the Mirrors crooner shared other plans, mentioning, "We are still putting the setlist together for Irving Plaza."
However, it was only when Fallon showed him his cue card that Timberlake finally remembered the big news: his upcoming world tour.
"Oh yeah I am going on tour," he finally revealed the news of his world tour prompting Fallon to leave his chair and share a moment of laughter with the singer.
"C’mon, this is your world tour," the host exclaimed.
Timberlake's solo return journey comes full circle, with the tour set to support his forthcoming collection Everything I Thought It Was, marking his first solo album release in over six years.
Fans got a taste of what's to come with the release of Selfish, the first single from EITIW.
The Friends with Benefits actor will be back on the screens when he serves as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, with host Dakota Johnson this weekend.
