Leonardo DiCaprio poured in his support for Killers of the Flower Moon co-star Lily Gladstone despite being 'robbed' of Oscars nomination for Best Actor category.
Taking his happiness on social media, the Titanic star penned a heartwarming caption along with a picture of Gladstone, 37, courtesy of Osage News.
"Congratulations to my dear friend @LilyGladstone for making Oscars history as the first Native American woman to be nominated for Best Actress in Killers of the Flower Moon," he began.
Gushing over the Reservation Dogs actress’s new achievement, the Wolf of Wall Street star wrote, "the fourth Indigenous actress to ever earn a nomination in the category."
The 49-year-old actor, who is rumored to be dating Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, wrapped up the caption raving about his film’s other nods in the Oscars nominations 2024, "to this powerful film’s nine other nominations - telling this story with all of you has been an honor."
The Billions alum replied to her fellow co-star in the comments, "Thank you, Leo. For all of it. [red heart and sparkling emoji]"
In response to DiCaprio's Instagram post, his admirers gathered to commend him for backing his fellow cast members' nominations instead of lamenting his Oscar snub.
A fan wrote effusively, "And that’s how you gracefully accept an Oscar snub. Love that you put the spotlight on the right thing- Lily’s nomination!"
Meanwhile, some other fans expressed their sadness over DiCaprio's omission from the Oscars nominations, with the most disappointing sunb being from the Best Actor category.
"Bro you were robbed of a nomination as well [sad emoji]," one fan chimed in.
Punctuating a red heart emoji, another wrote, "Leo, your performance was outstanding and worthy of a Nomination. Lily, congratulations."
