'All My Children' star Alec Musser remembred by ex girlfriend

Alec Musser’s ex-girlfriend, Lacy Faddoul, paid a heartfelt tribute to the All My Children star following his demise on January 13.

In a statement to PEOPLE, in the begining Faddoul reflected on Musser’s love for Skiing, "Alec was born with a pair of skis in one hand and a surfboard in the other. He had a spirit that was competitive in the most jubilant ways."

"I’m one of them and he taught me to ski," Faddoul, who dated the waterpark guy from Grown Ups from 2011 to 2014, recalled.

The Bachelor franchise actress went on to admire Musser’s caring nature, saying, "Thank you for teaching me what it feels like to be treated so well in a relationship."

"I will love you forever, and you will forever shine through the sunsets," she poured in her love.

Musser, who played Del Henry II in All My Children from 2005 to 2007, died by suicide at the age of 50, referring to the tragic death his former love interest noted, "We don’t ever know just how bad someone is hurting until you are faced with the devastating news that they took their own life."

"He is now at peace," sharing a lesson she wrote, "Never skip an opportunity to tell those you care about that you love them. Life is so fragile."

During their three-year relationship, Musser and Faddoul spent time together in Mexico and loved taking sunset walks in Del Mar.

In addition to the loved-up dating period, Faddoul told that following their breakup the two remained close friends with each other and shared that she last spoke to the Desperate Housewives actor in December.
