One Direction alum Zayn Malik makes return to spotlight after 6-year hiatus

Zayn Malik swept hearts of his beloved fans with a dazzling return to the public eye after a hiatus of over five years.

The former One Direction heartthrob graced the Kenzo runway show at Paris Fashion Week on Friday, January 19, marking a stylish comeback.

Despite the extended break from the camera flashes, the Dusk Till Dawn hitmaker effortlessly struck poses with musician Pharrell Williams, former CEO of Christian Dior Sidney Toledano and singer Rita Ora.

For the latest sighting, the 31-year-old crooner opted for a signature chic hairdo, swept back his dark tresses and styled blonde streaks.

He cut a stylish appearance in a blue patterned jacket with matching bottoms coupled with a white shirt.

The Midnight Memories singer kept the upper buttons of his shirt undone showing off his chest tattoos.

He also donned white sneakers, which were later scuffed with dark tread marks when a car ran over his foot while he was shuffling through the crowd outside the venue.

This marked his first major event in six years since his last sighting in the front row at a runway show in 2018 with ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid's brother, Anwar Hadid.

The Night Changes crooner attended Tom Ford's presentation with his then-girlfriend's brother at the New York Fashion Week.

Earlier in July 2023, he appeared on an episode of Call Her Daddy hosted by Alex Cooper and shared the reason for his break.

He expressed that he always wanted to have a break because during his days in One Direction, he and his bandmates — Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles — were "too overexposed" by the media.

Malik notably stepped back from the limelight to co-parent his his now three-year-old daughter Khai with Gigi.
