Rick Harrison from Pawn Stars reality series lost his son Adam, who was 39 years old, under tragic circumstances.
According to TMZ, spokesperson for the 59-year-old businessman informed that the son recently passed away from a fatal overdose.
The rep further said that the family just found out today, i.e., Jan, 20 of the young one's demise.
Shortly after the death was reported, the Harrison family said, "Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam."
In the statement, they urged everyone to respect their privacy during this sensitive time, "We ask for privacy as we grieve this loss."
As per the outlet, it remained vague as to where and under what specific situations Adam exactly was when he died.
The Las Vegas Metro Police Department has taken on the case and has been supervising its investigation.
The reality TV personality took to his social media to post a picture with his son accompanied with a caption that read, "You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam. [red broken heart emoji]"
Rick is a father of three adult boys and welcomed his sons, Corey and Adam, with his first wife, Kim, and shares a third son, Jake, with his second wife, Tracy.
The eldest son, Corey, of the owner of Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, is heavily invested in Pawn Stars and first appeared in the show in 2009. Meanwhile, Adam has mostly stayed away from the limelight.
As he was not involved in the show often and managed to keep his profile under the radar, a lot about him is unknown.
However, there was one time when Adam helped out his father at the world-famous Gold & Silver pawn shop featured on the History series Pawn Star but then decided to step away from it to continue his own thing.
