Alec Musser’s cause of tragic death has been officially out in a somber revelation.
According to PEOPLE, the details surrounding the All My Children star’s demise were revealed by San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office as suicide due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Grown Ups star was found dead by his fiancée, Paige Press, at their Del Mar, California residence on Friday, Jan. 12.
The outlet also cited a press release that revealed Musser was last known to be alive by his fiancée when she went to bed on the night of his demise, however, in a twist of fate she discovered him lifeless the following morning.
The statement depicted the scene as: He was "slumped forward on the bathroom floor," along with a firearm identified as a shotgun.
The I Wanna Be A Soap Star winner was pronounced dead after paramedics and law enforcement arrived on the scene.
His death has been ruled out and the official cause of his passing has been listed as suicide.
The exact reason why he shot himself to death has not yet been determined. Some speculations surrounding the incident suggested the former Abercrombie & Fitch model was in depression.
On the contrary, when Paige took to social media to announce the death of her beloved, she posted several pictures of them on her Instagram stories on Saturday, writing, "Today is the worst day of my life. We were so happy."
This comes after she announced the death of Musser in the first story. "RIP to the love of my life. I will never stop loving you. My heart is broken," she wrote.
