Jason Mamoa cleared the air on being "homeless" after the Aquaman star finalised his divorce from ex-wife, Lisa Bonet, following the estranged couple’s two-year split.
During an interview with PEOPLE at an event for the documentary Common Ground at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills the 44-year-old American actor jokingly revealed, "I’m just houseless. I’m not homeless."
The Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom lead went on to explain, "I have a nice trailer."
"Everyone’s like, 'Jason Mamoa’s homeless.' I’m like, 'Relax. I got a f****** sleeping bag,'" he added.
However, Mamoa admitted that when he buys a house someday he would be happy, "I’ve never bought a house yet, so I’m excited to one day."
He playfully predicted the reactions of the people when they will find out that he purchased a house, imitating, "Like 'Jason Momoa bought a home. Holy s---. He's got a pillow now.'"
The Game of Thrones alum was surrounded by no-home headlines when he told Entertainment Tonight, "I don’t even have a home right now. I'm always in these weird places."
He went on to explain that he has been working on a docuseries, On the Roam – expected to premiere on January 18– for which he travels across the US.
The remarks from the Dune actor come days after he settled his divorce with Zoë Kravitz’s mother earlier this month.
According to court documents obtained by the outlet Bonet, 56, filed for divorce, and the reason for the dissolution of marriage was cited as "irreconcilable differences."
The Cosby Show actress and the Fast X actor requested joint child custody to co-parent their two kids, a 16-year-old daughter Lola and a 15-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf.
