Zayn Malik drops ‘unexpected collab’ on 31st birthday

Zayn Malik cranked up the volume on his 31st birthday, surprising fans with an unexpected musical collaboration alongside emerging Pakistani boy band, AUR.

Sending social media into a frenzy on Thursday, the Dusk Till Dawn hitmaker teased the release of his new collab, Tu Hain Kahan, with a reel on his Instagram Story, setting the date for the musical revelation as January 12.

The official music video of the song premiered on YouTube by AUR in which the former member of One Direction shared vocals with two young Pakistani boys, Usama Ali and Ahad Khan.

As per the YouTube's description, Raffey Anwar was credited as the music producer, with Malik taking the helm for the video credits.

Fans of the Night Changes crooner flooded the new song’s release with birthday wishes for the artist. 

One dedicated fan penned a lenghty birthday wish, "HAPPY 31ST BIRTHDAY to the incredible ZAYN MALIK! Words cannot express how much of a fan I am and how much your music means to me."

He gushed over Malik's vocal talent and added, "Your soulful voice has the power to touch the deepest parts of my heart, and your lyrics resonate with my emotions like no other..."

"...Thank you for being an incredible artist and for sharing your artistry with me. Happy birthday, ZADDY!" his fan concluded the long passage.

Not to mention, in the collaboration the I Dont't Wanna Live Forever singer showcased his Urdu speaking skills, which fans did not fail to take notice of. 

A fan exclaimed in the comments section, "This collab is huge!! Zayn you killed it with your Urdu! And of course, AUR did an amazing job proud of you guys love from PK and Happy Birthday ZAYN!"
