Travis Kelce reportedly will not get down on one knee on Valentine’s Day to propose to Taylor Swift despite engagement rumors.
On Thursday, Page Six reported, citing an insider, that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has been refrained to pop the question before the Blankspace hitmaker as the two believed they shouldn't proceed hastily.
"They don’t want it to seem like it’s rushed insanity," the tipster told and further revealed that the NFL player will not propose on Valentine’s Day, as highly anticipated, due to the same reason.
The source alluded that the two are keeping the matter under the radar and shared, "Taylor and Travis discussed it and there is a plan."
However, the insider claimed that whether the Lovestory crooner’s boyfriend will make a move or not, the swifties are already sent into a frenzy stirring the speculations that, "they will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July."
The power couple first kicked off dating rumors when the Cruel Summer chart-topper first made a public appearance at one of Kelce’s, 34, games at Arrowhead Stadium on September 24, 2023.
However, the 34-year-old pop icon revealed in her Time magazine Person of the Year interview that the two already were dating way earlier than her attendance at the game.
She said that, "We started hanging out right after that," referring to the instance when the footballer mentioned her for the first time on his podcast, New Heights, in July.
"So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we go to get to know each other," the Karma vocalist added.
"I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game," Swift added. "We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date."
