Halle Bailey officially announces baby’s birth after welcoming son in 2023

Halle Bailey announced the arrival of her bundle of joy days after giving birth to her and boyfriend Darryl Dwayne “DDG” Grandberry Jr.’s first baby together.

While sharing her baby bliss, the 23-year-old actress and singer took to Instagram and penned a joyful caption that read, "Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son…"

The Little Mermaid actress went on to reveal the name of her son, "Welcome to the world my Halo [emojis]."

She playfully referred to her hyped-up pregnancy rumours previously taking rounds on social media by her eagle-eyed fans and added, "The world is desperate to know you[emojis]."

Along with the loved-up caption, the new mother-of-one also shared an adorable snapshot of her baby’s tiny hand adorned with a golden bracelet– embossed with his moniker, HALO.

Under her latest Instagram post, many friends and fans flocked to congratulate and extend their warm wishes and greetings to the newborn and his mother.

Social media influencer Quenlin Blackwell enthusiastically commented, “CONGRATULATIONSSSSSSS.”

Halle Berry, the Oscar-winning actress, dropped a comment with a red heart emoji, "Congratulations, Halle. Welcome to motherhood and welcome to the world baby Halo."

The Being Marry Jane alum, Gabrielle Union-Wade, poured in her love by punctuating a series of red heart emojis in the comments section.

The Color Purple actress has always been notoriously private about her personal life and stayed mum throughout her pregnancy despite swirling rumours.

She has been dating DDG for over a year and went Instagram official in March 2022, following the Zooted Music record label founder's post on her birthday.
