Christian Oliver’s ex-wife mourns death of actor, kids after plane crash

Christian Oliver’s former wife, Jessica Muroz, remembered her "beloved family members" in a heartfelt statement following their tragic death due to a plane crash on Thursday.

Soon after the 51-year-old actor and his daughter’s death made headlines, many friends and fans poured in their tributes; however, the most prominent one was from his ex-wife.

The mother of two, who goes by the name Jessica Kelpser, works as a West Coast Regional Manager at Wundabar Pilates.

The training centre founded by Amy Jordan posted a joint statement from Klepser and family on its official Instagram account.

The statement began, "We are deeply saddened by the tragic plane accident on January 4, 2024, which took the lives of our beloved family members."

They mentioned how the father and daughters met the unfortunate demise, revealing, "Our daughters, Madita (12), and Annik (10), along with their father Christian, were returning from a holiday in the Caribbean when the single-engine plane they were travelling in experienced engine trouble and fell into the ocean."

The statement individually touched the daughters' personalities and wrote, "Madita, a vibrant 7th-grade student at Louis Armstrong Middle School, was known for her lively spirit and excelled in academics, dance, singing, and performances."

"Annik, a 4th-grade student at Wonderland Ave Elementary School, was recognised for her gentle yet strong demeanour. She was always the first to offer a kind word or a comforting hug," they added.

"The deep bond, infectious laughter, and adventurous spirit shared by Madita and Annik will be profoundly missed in their communities," the statement concluded with a request, "Please honour the family’s request for privacy at this difficult time."

The Indiana Jones star and the former entertainment journalist in Los Angeles, per MailOnline, divorced in December 2021.
