Christian Oliver, born as Christian Klepser, along with his two young daughters, passed away following a tragic plane crash into the sea off a Caribbean island.
According to Deadline, the aviation accident occurred on Thursday when the Indiana Jones alum, dead at the age of 51, was headed to St. Lucia with his 12-year-old daughter Madita Kelpser and 10-year-old Annik Klepser, whom he shares with former wife Jessica Muroz.
As per the authorities, the plane took off on Thursday afternoon from J.F. Mitchell Airport in Bequia and was crashed when the single-engine aircraft was moving towards nearby St. Lucia.
In addition to the Speed Racer star and his girls, among the dead were owner and pilot, identified as Robert Sachs.
The officials looking into the case confirmed to the outlet that all four bodies had been recovered.
Shortly after the incident, the Royal St. Vincent and Grenadines Police Force released a statement that read, "Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft experienced difficulties and nose-dived into the ocean."
"Fishermen and divers from Paget Farm went to the scene of the incident in their boats to render assistance," they added.
The local resorts revealed that the pilot contacted the controlling tower briefly after takeoff and reported he was experiencing trouble and was turning back.
That remained the last communication from the aircraft, however, the case is under investigation.
The German actor’s ex-wife, Jessica Muroz, released a joint statement with her parents through Wundabar Pilates Instagram account.
The West Coast Regional Manager at the pilates training center mourned the death of her family members and urged the fans to give some privacy.
Olivia and Muroz parted ways, seeking divorce in December 2021.
