Raven’s Home reel life exes took a plunge into their real life after it emerged that the two were engaged.

This made headlines when Anneliese van der Pol and Johnno Wilson announced their next big step in their relationship via an Instagram post.

The 39-year-old Dutch-American actress played the role of Chelsea Daniels, a single mom of son Levi (Jason Maybaum), in the 2017 Disney Channel spinoff.

Meanwhile Wilson landed the role of Garrett Grayson, ex-husband of Chelsea.

Two months later, the two bumped into each other again at the wrap party of Raven’s Home season one.

"[Pol was] completely avoiding me," the actor and comedian shared in the Big Name B***** podcast in 2023.

"I was like, ‘Hey Anneliese,’ and she goes, ‘Where’s your girlfriend?," he added.

Meanwhile Pol "really liked" him but the thought that he was dating another girl refrained her from confessing her feelings. When she asked him about his girlfriend he told her "right away" that he was single.

March 2020

The two made their relationship Instagram official. The Vampire Sucks actress announced their romance on the social media platform.

She posted a playful video of Wilson, trying on different facial filters, accompanied with a caption that read, "He’s my ex-husband and I HATE him, but apparently YOU love him… so here ya freaking go. THE WHOLE VIDEO..[emojis]."

The loved up couple frequently joked about their relationship and in August they recreated a scene from the sitcom.

The two candidly opened up about their relationship during one of the episodes of Pol’s podcast, Big Name B***** in October 2023, they also shared how they got romantically linked.

December 2023

On Wednesday, December 27, Wilson proposed to Pol on one knee.

Taking to his Instagram he wrote "Thank you @disney for introducing me to my TV ex-spouse and real life fiancé".

He also posted a carousel of photos and among several joyful moments that were captured which included a picture that featured a three-stoned enagegment ring on Pol's finger.
